  Eligibility Requirements:

  • To be eligible for the drawing, one must be a member (in good standing) of the Navion Pilots Association when the drawing is conducted. Good standing means: (a) a current / active member (not a closed account, not an account with unpaid dues), (b) one who is not banned or prohibited from posting (due to rules violations), and (c) the member's real e-mail address as entered or adjusted in the member's online profile must be current and effective (returned e-mail or failure to respond will result in forfeiture of the prize).
  • A Member who wins any one of the first three drawings (March, June, or September) is not eligible to win again until the December drawing. All members are eligible for the December drawing, even if they have won a drawing earlier in the same year.
  • Those who volunteer (administrators, editors, moderators) on a regular basis as part of the Navion Pilots Association team are not eligible. Authors and other occasional contributors are eligible.
  • Where shipping charges are required, we will pay for shipping only to an address in the United States.

  The Drawing

  • The "Entries" section above defines qualifying entry events. Each Member will receive an appropriate number of entries in a random drawing.
  • On or about the drawing date, we will conduct a random drawing to select the winner from among all eligible entries received from all methods combined. Our decisions are final and binding on all matters related to the drawing. In each drawing, we will also identify alternate winners (for use in the event of the winner being disqualified, not meeting eligibility requirements, or failing to respond to or accept the drawing results).
  • We will confirm that the winner is, in fact, eligible and we will notify the winner by e-mail or private message (in our forums). For e-mail, we will use the winner's real e-mail address as specified in that person's online profile. With the notification, we will ask the winner to authorize the corresponding publicity (see the "Spotlight" section below).
  • The winner must respond to our notification within three days of notification. If the winner does not respond, we will send an e-mail or private message advising the winner of disqualification due to failure to respond and we will proceed with notification of an alternate winner.

  Your Moment in the Spotlight

  • By accepting any of our drawing prizes, you are authorizing the Navion Pilots Association to put you in the spotlight! We will ask your permission to publish your name, location, a short story about your interest in Navion aircraft, and a digital photo(s) for promotional use on our Web site. Normally, we will want to see a photo of you (with your airplane, if feasible) and we will want to write a brief story about you. We will publish that material on our Web site with your permission. Refusal to grant this permission will be a disqualifying act.
  • Further, by accepting the prize the winner releases and agrees to hold harmless the Navion Pilots Association and its affiliates from any and all liability for any injury, loss, or damage of any kind to person, including death, and property arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, participation in this drawing or any related activity
